"SIMPLE, POWERFUL REFLECTIONS ON THE HUMAN CONDITION IN THE SCIENTIFIC AGE" First edition thus of this collection of essays. Dorothy Sayers was something of a jack-of-all-trades with the pen, producing a steady output of drama, poetry, essays, crime novels, and translations. As a committed Anglican, her lasting contribution among these efforts may well have been her Christian perspective. Originally published in 1969 as "Christian Letters to a Post-Christian World" (Eerdmanns). This title was part of the Macmillan series that also collected and reprinted C. S. Lewis, J. B. Phillips and Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
