"WHY SEEK THE LIVING AMONG THE DEAD? / THE LORD IS RISEN, AS HE SAID" First edition of this stunning collaboration between Dorothy Sayers and Fritz Wegner, the successor to the Days of Christ's Coming, the pair's celebrated 1953 Advent calendar. The front panel features an imposing architectural-style illustration, depicting sculpted statues flanking title letters engraved in stone. The tall card stock is folded twice, opening to reveal a glorious stained-glass window by Wegner. The miniature panels are flanked with twenty-seven numbered verses by Sayers. Printed in England by Harrison & Sons Ltd., London, Hayes & High Wycombe. A splendid example.
