Later printing of St. Margaret and Her Chapel, collecting several short essays on the Life of the medieval "Pearl of Scotland."

The eleventh-century Queen of Scotland, "Margaret was particularly famous for her love of the poor" (Robert Ellsberg). Canonized in 1250, Remembered in 1660 by a Monk of Douay: "She has been the idea of a perfect Queen," St. Margaret was named the Patron of Scotland in 1673.

First published in 1957, the title essay by Ronald Selby Wright of the Church of Scotland is joined with posthumous essays by Lucy Menzies ("Margaret Queen of Scotland") and Ronald Knox ("The Wives' Saint"). Concludes with another short essay by Selby Wright ("St. Margaret and Iona"). Illustrated with her Arms, a photograph of the Queen's Chapel, and a portrait in stained glass.
