Margaret (July 20), S. Lawrence (August 10), S. Lambert (September 17), S. Crispin (October 25), S. Katharine (November 25), S. Sylvester (December 31). The brief profiles include S. Valentine, who was martyred "on the feast of lovers, the lovely day when birds and men choose their mates and the very flowers feel the turn of the year."
