"FEAR NOTHING: I BRING GOOD NEWS OF GREAT JOY TO YOU AND ALL MANKIND" First American printing of this lovely Advent Calendar—a collaboration between Dorothy Sayers and Fritz Wegner—published in the same year as the first British printing. Dorothy Sayers’s recounting of the Nativity story prefaces Wegner's charming painting: "THE PICTURE inside has twenty-seven numbered doors for you to open as the story goes along. You can start on the Fourteenth of December and open one door every day until the Seventh of January. If you start earlier or later than this, remember that the Stable Door (Door 12) is the one that opens on CHRISTMAS DAY.' Printed in London by the Haycock Press for distribution in America by the Seabury Press. Reprinted in book form (in a smaller format) in 1960 with the same title.
